ATTEND THE COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND BACKYARD WORKDAY: Join us on Saturday, April 27th from 10 am - 2 pm to get your hands dirty in the backyard, helping to prepare the garden and lawn OR to hit the neighborhood distributing invitations to every home's doorknob! Location: Akwaaba Hall, 7911 MacArthur Blvd. THIS WORK IS CRITICAL in making sure that the community in East Oakland know the resources and fun available at the health festival! Funds raised from Personal Fundraisers will help pay for supplies for volunteer nurses such as blood pressure kits, the face painter for children, marketing supplies, garbage bags, toilet paper, and other needed essentials.
