African community of Alameda County, and Oakland in particular, suffer from
grave disparities in nearly every area of health and wellness.
The Uhuru Health Festival = POWER.
The
Uhuru Health Festival is making health information, resources and services
accessible to our community so that we can have power over our own health!
There is growing resistance in our community to reject the disparities that we face
every day.
We
must have power in our own hands to determine our own future as African people.
